Elizabeth “Tee Tee” “Sister” Davis, 59, a native of Paincourtville, La., and a resident of Donaldsonville, La., died at Capital House Nursing Home in Baton Rouge, La., Friday, Feb. 22.


She is survived by her daughters, Lisa D. Sims and husband, Houston P., of Gonzales, La., and Crystal Davis of Donaldsonville; sons, Arnold Davis of Lutcher, La., Manuel Davis of Gonzales and Stephen Davis of Donaldsonville; sisters, Judy Hayes, Angela, Sheila, Joyce and Ann Davis; brother, Wilbert Carter and wife, Van; five grandchildren; and numerous relatives.


She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Nell Butler Davis; brothers, Lionel, Leonard and William Davis Jr.; and sister, Debra Davis.

She was a former employee at the University of New Orleans.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, at New Belmont Baptist Church in Labadieville, La., with a religious service to follow. She will be buried at Greater Israel Baptist Church Cemetery in Belle Rose, La.

William and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of the arrangements.
