Elsie Hotard Marcel, 80, a native and resident of Montegut, La., died Friday, Feb. 22, at 7:30 p.m.
She is survived by her son, Donald J. Marcel and wife Wanda; brother, Claude Hotard; sisters, Mary Craigmile and Anna Freeman; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daunis Joseph Marcel; her parents, Ophesi J. and Eugenie Billiot Hotard; and two infant sons.
Visitation is 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25, and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, at the Montegut Fire Station in Montegut with the funeral to follow Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Montegut. She will be buried at Dugas Cemetery in Montegut.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
