Elvin Ledet Jr.

Elvin “E.P.” Ledet Jr., 84, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Monday, Nov. 18, 2013.

Mr. Ledet was a career educator and coach. He was an avid family man who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, traveling and playing golf.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara Ledet; children, Liz (Donald) Hays, Terry (Joy), Jerry (Lisa) and Tim (Kristi) Ledet and Marie (Rodney) LeBlanc; sisters, Marie Prejean and Carolyn Hayward; brother, William (Ferdie) Ledet; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvin Sr. and Lilly Ledet; sisters, Ruby Knobloch and Pris Ledet; and stepbrother, Henry Cooper.

Burial is at St. Joseph Cemetery. (Landry’s)
