Elvy Landry, 98, a native of Chackbay, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 5 a.m. Saturday, December 13.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa Doiron Landry; two stepsons, Gary Doiron and wife Sonja, and Mark Doiron; one stepdaughter, Patricia Doiron Delaune and husband Ronald; five grandchildren, Doug and Drew Delaune, Austin, Kristina and Lucas Doiron; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Landry and Amelia Rodrigue Landry; six brothers, Volcar, Cyril, John, Oliver, Alcee and Ilsene Landry; and five sisters, Oliva Landry, Claire Landry, Rose Mary Rome, Elia Plaisance and Hilda Landry.
He was buried at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Raceland, La.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
