Emelda “Kooda Brown” Louise Reado, 62, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Friday, May 15.
She is survived by her brother, Rev. Russell Folse of Raceland, La.; and five sisters, Lydia Robinson and Daisy Triggs of Thibodaux, La., Barbara Camp of Avondale, La., Rosa Lee Reado of Marrero, La., and Octavia Thomas of Raceland, La.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezekiel Reado Sr. and Viola Folse; one brother, Ezekiel Reado, Jr.; and one sister, Margaret Robinson.
She was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church.
Visitations will be 9 to 11 am Tuesday, May 19 at St. Paul Baptist Church at Lafourche Crossing with Religious Services to follow. Burial will be at the Church Cemetery.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland, La. is in charge of arrangements.
