March 15, 2012Emelie Melancon, 42, a native of Galliano, La., and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died at 11:06 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2012.
Ms. Melancon was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow.
She is survived by her brothers, Emery (Kelly) Melancon and Patrick (Heidi) Melancon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Jr. and Aline Melancon.
Burial was at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano. (Samart-Mothe)
