Everett “E.J.” Clause Sr., 93, a native of Belle Rose, La., and resident of Labadieville, La., died at 9:12 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2012.
He is survived by his sons, Everett Jr. (Cecile) and Curtis (Margie) Clause; daughter, Connie Oubre; sister, Rae Rita Acosta; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Clause; parents, Rene’ and Florence Clause; brothers, Herman and Russell Clause; and sisters, Mildred Turner, Thelma Naquin, Effie Healey and Dolores Lockhart.
Burial was at St. Philomena Church Cemetery in Labadieville. (Landry’s)
