Emma Autin Matherne, 88, a resident and native of Raceland, La., died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006.
Vistation will be held at 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006 at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church in Mathews, La. with burial in the St. Mary Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Marlene Matherne and Melinda M. Punch and husband, Donald; a son-in-law Ned Matherne, Sr.; one sister, Anna Mae Candies; 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clovis and Enola Bourgeois Autin; one daughter, Eula Mae Matherne; seven brothers, Euell “Tu”, Uric “Red”, Whitney “TB”, Kearney, Wilbur, Ernest Ora, and Ernest Adam Autin, and two sisters, Eula Autin Wiley and Enola Autin.
She was a parishoner of St. Hilary Catholic Church.
Arrangements will be made under the direction of Falgout Funeral Home.
