Eugene S. Smith, 54, a native and resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Vanburen-Smith; sons, Eugene Jr., Jeremiah and Jamaud Smith, Devin Franklin and Terrell Williams; daughters, Rachel and Christina Vanburen, Julia and Jalisa Smith, Katina and Traneka Williams and Lameka (Derek) Gincoo; sisters, Sharon (Melvin) Adams, Lisa Smith and Diane Williams; brothers, Henry, John (Roxanne), Joseph and James Smith; and 18 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Sr. and Cecilia Smith; and brothers, David and Keith Smith.
Burial is at Southdown Cemetery. (Jones)
