Eula Chiasson Cheramie, 92, a native of Larose, La., and a resident of Lafourche Parish, La., died Sunday, Aug. 23.
She is survived by her son, Ray Cheramie and wife Yvonne; five grandchildren, Stephanie Cheramie, Sheila Gisclair, Michele Cheramie, Rachel Rodrigue and Brandi Callais; and twelve great-grandchildren, Lauren Griffin, Blake Bourgeois, Max Silveri, Lindsey and Blaine Gisclair, Marcy, Bethany and Cody Rodrigue, Taylor, Beau, and Camryn Callais, and Brooke LeBlanc; two brothers, Herman Chiasson and Arnold Chiasson; and four sisters, Frances Bourg, Irene Pierce, Anna Mae Vinet and Arnic Sevin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ellis Cheramie; parents, Serville and Augusta Dufrene Chiasson; one son, Carroll Cheramie; and one sister, Essie Robichaux.
She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Larose, and 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. The funeral service will be at 12 p.m. Wednesday at the church with burial at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
