Eula Mae Davis, 88, a native of Terrebonne, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, March 15.

She is survived by her sons, Chester Davis Jr., Arthur Davis and Charles Davis, all of Houma; daughters, Joyce Davis of Thibodaux, La., and Shirley Clark of Houma; and sister, Margaret Dees and husband Sidney of Florida.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Davis Sr.; parents, Alfred and Perlie Watson Lyons; son, Micheal Jones; daughters, Norman Jean Davis and Carolyn Ann Davis; brothers, Albert Lyons and Tate Lyons; and sisters, Elonera Benjamin, Rosa Davis, Louise Johnson and Rebecca Nixon.

She was a homemaker and a member of Church of Christ. She was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, March 20, at Gertrude Geddes Willis-Terrebonne Funeral Home with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at Southdown Cemetery.
