Michael Dwayne Calloway, 40, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died Thursday, March 12.
He is survived by his parents, Ezekiel Calloway Sr. and Victoria “Rose” Calloway; brothers, Ezekiel Calloway Jr., Courtney Calloway and Dantrell Jason Harvey; and sister, Penny Smith.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Freddie Wilson and Victoria Porter; and paternal grandparents, George and Kate Calloway.
He was Baptist and a member of New St. John Baptist Church. He was a longtime employee of S.W.D.E.E. and he enjoyed talking to family and friends and doing carpentry work.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 21, at Community Funeral Home with the funeral service at 11a.m. Burial will be at Emanuel Cemetery in Houma.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
