Eula Scott Bascle, 82, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, October 31, at 6 a.m.


She is survived by her daughters, Harriet Hilton and husband Randy, and Winnifred Authement; sister, Mary Ann Thibodeaux; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Joseph Bascle; parents, Sidney F. Scott and Marie Trosclair Scott; sons, Gordon and Ernest Bascle; brothers, Horace, Sidney, Norris, Whitney, Maurice, Johnny and Paul Scott; and sisters, Aurena Bourg, Viola Breaux, Lorena Guidry and Francis Hebert.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, November 8, at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg, La., with a memorial mass to follow.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
