Eunice Domangue Rogers, 93, a native of Terrebonne Parish, LA. and resident of Houma, LA., died at 6:45 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2007.

Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.


She is survived by three sons, Arden “Punkin” Rogers and wife, Becky, of Golden Meadow, LA., Ronnie “Fru” Rogers and companion, Henrietta, of Houma and Dale M. Rogers of New Orleans, LA.; one daughter, Paulette Rogers Fournier and husband, Wade Jr., of Houma; one sister, Maudry Dagate of Houma; five grandchildren, Ard Rogers, Cindy McDowell, Monique Landrus, Wade Fournier Jr. and Craig Fournier; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Noble Rogers; her parents, Enos Domangue and Corine Foret Domangue; one grandchild, Kris Danos; and one brother, Paul Domangue.

She was a homemaker and a member of Catholic Daughters, L.E.M., N.A.R.F.E., American Legion Auxiliary, Terrebonne Historical and Cultural Society Inc. and The Young at Heart. She was a volunteer at the Southdown Museum Gift Shop and was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church.
