Mixup costs insurer $27K in penalties

February 8, 2010Eunice J. “Nis” LeBlanc, 85, a native and resident of Lockport, La., died at 8:35 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1, 2010.
Mr. LeBlanc was a parishioner of Holy Savior Catholic Church. A U.S. Army World War II veteran, he was also a member of the American Legion, VFW. He was a retired crane supervisor.
He is survived by daughters, Beryl Rivet and Brenda (Daniel) McClintock; grandchildren, Paula McClintock, Sheila Chiasson, Dena (Kevin) Morvant and Nicole (Jerry) Rivera; and great-grandchildren, Lonnie Chiasson Jr., Brady Morvant, Brooke Morvant, Valerie Rivera and Halle Rivera.
He is buried at Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery Church.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
