Eva “Mickey” Chiasson Thibodaux, 69, a native of Gretna, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Tuesday, March 10.


She is survived by her husband, Larry Thibodaux; children, Donna Chiasson Plunkett and husband Joseph, Laurie Chiasson Boudreaux Melancon and husband Henry, Alan Chiasson and wife Penny, Kimberly Thibodaux Barrilleaux and husband Robert, and Anissa Thibodaux Tamplain and husband Thomas; grandchildren, Zane, Aaron and Miranda Plunkett, Nicole Boudreaux and companion Jean Gaspard, Bruce “B.J.” Boudreaux and wife Monique, Whitney Melancon, Amanda and Kayla Chiasson, Trent and Ian Barrilleaux, and Lillian, Eva and Elise Tamplain; great-grandchild, Rylee Boudreaux; sister-in-law, Rebecca Chiasson; and nephew, Colton J. Chiasson.


She was preceded in death by her first husband, Gilbert Chiasson; parents, C.J. Chiasson and Eva Hebert Chiasson; and brother, Carl J. Chiasson.

She was a nurse at the Lafourche Home for The Aged for 27 years. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Burial was at St. John the Evangelist Church Cemetery in Thibodaux.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
