Evelia “Tot” Griffin Bouzigard, 86, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La. died Thursday, June 21, 2007 at 7:20pm.
She is survived by her husband, Edgar “Ga-Get” Bouzigard; two sons, Dale and Edgar “E.J.” Bouzigard; three grandchildren, Rachel Brunet, Chad Bouzigard, and Rory Bouzigard; two great grandchildren, Alisha Bruce and Bethany Bouzigard.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Eva Orgeron Griffin, Sr.; seven brothers, Ernest, Justillin, Eumes, Herman. Clovis, Harris, and Mark Griffin; one sister, Evella Griffin Daily; one grandson, Brian Bouzigard.
Evelia was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.
Visitation is Monday, June 25, 2007 from 9:00am until 11:00am with the funeral to follow at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, La. She will be buried at Cheramie Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano is in charge of the arrangements.
