Evella Marie Thibodaux Pellegrin, 78, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, Sept. 6, at 11:55 a.m.
She is survived by two sons, Pierre Pellegrin and wife Nancy of Thibodaux, and Dwayne Pellegrin and wife Dianne of Denham Springs, La.; three daughters, Rosadel Buquet and husband Lenward of Houma, Brenda Chatagnier and husband Faron of Houma, and Yvonne Prosperie and husband Mike of Houma; two brothers, Merlin Thibodaux of Houma and Lloyd Thibodaux of Chauvin, La.; two sisters, Vera LeBouef of Houma and Margaret Thibodaux of Houma; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis Thibodaux and Marie Pellegrin Thibodaux; husband, Pierre R. Pellegrin Sr.; one sister, Judy Pertuit; and one brother, Dennis Thibodaux.
She was Catholic and a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and Ladies Altar Society.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Annunziata Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery.
