Evelyn LeCompte Autin, 66, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012.
Mrs. Autin was the owner of LaRussa’s Lounge. She was a past member and past queen of the Krewe of Cleopatra and the Krewe of Mardi Gras.
She is survived by her husband, Oley Autin Sr.; sons, Oley Jr. (Darnelle) and Troy Sr. (Stephanie) Autin; mother, Lita LeCompte; brothers, Stephen (Patsy) and Dennis (Sarah) LeCompte; sisters, Meridy (Randy) Liner and Nettie (Dave) Prejean; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul LeCompte Sr.; and brother, Paul LeCompte Jr.
Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Chauvin Funeral Home with Liturgy of the Word to follow. Burial will be at Terrebonne Memorial Park. (Chauvin)
