Everette Levy Jr., 65, a native and resident of Belle Rose, La., died at his home Friday, January 30.


He is survived by his former spouse, Janice Levy Coleman of Paincourtville, La.; daughters, Cashiba L. Vancourt and husband Kyle, and Latammia L. Lewis and husband Harden, of Paincourtville; sisters, Ruth and husband Carlton Robertson Sr. of New Orleans, La., Naomi Lovincy of Klotzville, Willie Mae and husband James Breaux Sr., Lillie Landry and husband Marty Jamison, and Beverly Levy, all of Belle Rose; brothers, Thomas Sr. and wife Jackie Levy of Labadieville, La., Nathaniel and wife Natalie Levy of Marrero, La., Walter and wife Joyce Levy of St. James, La., and Jerome and wife Mary Levy of Belle Rose; seven grandchildren; six sisters-in-law; eight brothers-in-law; two godchildren; and numerous relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Laura and Everette Levy Sr.; brothers, Solomon Levy and Beasley Levy Sr.; sister, Idella Mitchell; and grandson, Anfernae Ovide.

He was buried at First Israel Baptist Church Cemetery.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
