Felton J. Galiano, 88, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died Tuesday, June 7, 2011.
Mr. Galiano was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was an Army World War II veteran, a member of Knights of Columbus and Army Corps of Engineers, vice president of the First Greater Lafourche Port Commission and founder of Galliano Contractors INC in 1971.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Emilia Galiano; son, Steven Galiano; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Julien and Euphemie Galiano; son, Felton Galiano Jr.; and sister, Lillian Guidry.
Entombment was at St. Joseph Catholic Church Mausoleum. (Falgout)
