Ferdinand Lewis, 65, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Saturday October 18.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Lewis of Raceland; and one brother, Evans Lewis of Raceland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thelma and Oliver Lewis; one sister, Dorothy Mae Lewis; one brother, Leroy Lewis; and his grandparents, Cornelia and Clarence Joseph Sr. and Cecelia and Simon Lewis.
He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, a member of the Senior Choir and the Male Chorus.
He was buried at Young Ladies Benevolent Cemetery in Raceland.
Kennedy Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
