Florine “Flo” Broussard, 78, a native of Oakdale, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Oct. 10.
She is survived by three sons, Gary Broussard and wife Judy, James “Scotty” Broussard and wife Orlanda, and Robert “Todd” Broussard and wife Juanita; two daughters, Susan Broussard Diehl and husband Sonny, and Leslie Dumond and husband Mark; three sisters, Oralee Hebert, Farrell Eaves and Sylvia McKinley; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Alton “Bruce” Broussard; parents, Aaron and Louisiana Going; one brother, Robert Going; and two sisters, Ruby Marsh and Florette Matthews.
She enjoyed bingo and playing cards with family and friends.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma. The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
