Francis James Hebert Sr., 85, a native and resident of Houma, La. died Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 1:45pm.
He is survived by his former wife, Mary Rose Freeman; two sons, Donald Hebert and his wife Pamela and Richard Hebert and his wife Christine; one daughter, Sheryl Branney; one daughter-in-law, Gerri Hebert; two brothers, Eugene Hebert and Johnny Hebert; two sisters, Margie H. Bergeron and Florence H. Moore; 15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Hebert and Sedonia Thibodaux Hebert; one son, Francis Hebert Jr.; one brother, Houston Hebert; and two sisters, Dolores H. White and Pat H. Pitre.
He was retired self-employed with Francis Hebert Marine Service and a member of the Krewe of Christopher Carnival Club and Ducks Unlimited.
He was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma.
Chauvin Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
