Gabriel Michael Verdin, 19, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died Saturday, April 12, 2014.
Mr. Verdin enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing, video games and playing guitar and cards. He was Catholic.
He is survived by his mother, Evelyn (Joshua) Chilton; father, Shannon Pitre; companion, Gina Boquet; sisters, Jorgi and Shea Capps and Caitlen and Heather Verdin; and grandparents, Allen and Patsy Verdin.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Oris and Audrey Pitre.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, April 21, with mass to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Chauvin)
