Genieve Marie Colwart Faucheaux, 73, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Feb. 29, at 7:30 p.m.
She is survived by her sons, John Ezra Faucheaux III and wife, Donna, and Rene Faucheaux and wife, Naomi, of Houma; daughters, Cora Lee Fitch and husband, David, Jean Salinas and husband, Joe, and Judy Arceneaux and husband, Terry, of Houma; sisters, Mary Lee Trahan and husband, Randall, and Diana “Susie” Edwards of Houma; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ezra Faucheaux Jr.; and her parents, Alvin Joseph Colwart and Doris Marie Duplantis Colwart;
She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, March 03, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church with mass to follow. She will be buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
