George Bibs, 71, a resident of Larose, La., died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011.
Mr. Bibs was Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Delores Bibs; daughters, Tammie, Kim and Dell Bibs; sisters, Shirley Davis, Lillie Guillard and Cora Murphy; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Octavia Turner and Irvin Jackson; daughter, Penny Bibs; brother, Henry Bibs; and sister, Mary Thomas.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, at New Mt Zion Baptist Church in Larose with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Kennedy)
