George Francis, 85, a native of Breaux Bridge, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died Thursday, July 15, 2010.
He is survived by his stepdaughter, Lucille Jenkins; his adoptive family, Michelle Eroche Prentice and James, William and Angele Eroche; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Josie Mae Gordon Francis; parents, Robert and Angeline Alexander Francis; one aunt, Lillian Wiltz; and his adopted daughter, Denise Eroche Rodriguez.
He is buried at Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery in Raceland.
