July 19, 2010Rosemay Malbrough Taranto, 87, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Paradis, La., died Wednesday, July 14, 2010.
She is survived by her son, Gaspar (Arlene) Taranto Jr.; six grandchildren, Kerry (Stacy) Taranto, Kacy (Michael) Kernan, Angela (Michael) Grigar, Charla (Joey) Blankenship, Lauren (Chris) Perkins and Joshua (Chantel) Taranto; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaspar Taranto Sr.; one son, Daniel Taranto; parents, Harris and Louise Leonard Malbrough; longtime companion, Emmett Werhan; brothers, Alden Malbrough Sr. and Clifford Bonvillan; and sisters, Hilda Vial and Annamae Loupe Breaux.
She is buried at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling, La.
