Norman A. Martin, 73, a native of Napoleonville, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010.
Mr. Martin was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Madonna Rodrigue Bourgeois Martin; son, Chris (Laura) Martin; stepson, Lonnie (Mary) Bourgeois; stepdaughter, Kelly (Dwayne) Theriot; sister, Anna Mae Hidalgo; seven grandchildren, Allyson Wenning, Sophie and Michael Martin, Ashley and Jordan Theriot and Justin and Megan Bourgeois; and one great-grandchild, Elise Wenning.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Theriot Martin; parents, Ulger Martin and Elise Bergeron Martin Clements; one son, Mark Anthony Martin; and two brothers, James “J.P.” and Donald Martin.
He is buried at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland.
