Hirvin M. Barthelemy Sr., 81, a native and resident of Grand Isle, La., died at 2:15 a.m. Thursday, July 15, 2010.
He is survived by his son, Irvin Barthelemy Jr.; daughter, Antoinette Nacio; brother, Roley Barthelemy; sister, Victorine Smith; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Delta Parks Barthelemy; parents, Henry and Josephine D. Barthelemy; one daughter, Eve Barthelemy; two brothers, Charles and Vincent Barthelemy; five sisters, Lillian Blazio, Henrietta Lafont, Avela Crosby, Mercedes Scieneaux and Rosalie Trehan; and one grandchild.
He is buried at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland, La.
