August 30, 2011George Gobert, 71, a resident of Patterson, La., died at 11:27 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, 2011.
He is survived by his stepbrother, Nicholas Gobert; sisters, Geraldine Verdun, Anna Vinning, Mardel Burgess, Bernadine Verdun and Enola Walker; and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Senora Lymon.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson with services to follow. (Jones)
