Workers remain nervous about employment, according to survey

September 10, 2010George D. “Hoss” Miller, 75, a native of Iota, La., and a resident of Gray, La., died at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010.
Mr. Miller was an avid LSU fan and loved life and family to the fullest. He was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Katherine L. Miller; sons, Jeff (Francine) and Chris (Chantel) Miller; daughters, Annette (Randy) Soileau; Roxanne (Pat) Soileau, Brenda Berteau and Betty Hebert; brother, Fred Miller; sisters, Bunny Touchet, Nell Pellegrin and Chick Miller; 19 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10 at Falgout Funeral Home’s chapel and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11 at St. Bridget Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday followed by burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
