Gerald Prosperie Sr., 77, a native and resident of Montegut, La., died Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014.
He is survived by his daughters, Vickie (Bart Sr.) Authement, Alice (Jeremy) Brunet, Ethel (Billy Sr.) Naquin, Esther Trosclair and Stephanie (Dub) Babin; sons, Gerald Jr. (Mary), Eric and Thomas (Liza) Prosperie; brothers, Louis Jr. and Bert Prosperie; sisters, Hannah Gayle, Maryetta Ellender, Wendy Lirette and Ann Bonvillian; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis Sr. and Bessie Prosperie; sisters, Betty Babin and Diane Rhodes; brother, Hasley Prosperie; and one grandchild.
Burial is at Rogers Cemetery in Houma, La. (Samart)
