Gertrude Landry Rodrigue, 86, a native of Chackbay, La. and resident of Thibodaux, La. died Wednesday, October 24, 2007, 12:50 a.m.
She is survived by one daughter, Brenda M. Rodrigue; two brothers, Vital Landry and Prophet Landry; one sister, Margie L. Loupe; two grandchildren, Tara Rodrigue Reed and her husband Kevin and Troy Rodrigue; and one great-grandchild, Kevin M. Reed II.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ulbert Landry and Liva Rodrigue Landry; one brother, Lambert Landry; and one sister, Sophie L. Bonadonna.
Gertrude was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Joseph Co-Cathedral.
Visitation is Friday, October 26, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral. Mass will be at 10 a.m. She will be buried in the church cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
