Gladys Landry Breaux, 86, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died Thursday, April 7, 2011.

Mrs. Breaux was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend to many. She will be sadly missed but not forgotten.


She is survived by her husband, Cleveland Breaux; daughters, Jaclynne (Johnny) Guidry, Debby (Glenn) Doherty and Laura (Robert) Owens; 13 grandchildren, Addis and Jody Landry, Tanya Ponson, Jared and Jason Guidry, Jaynel Gisclair, Rick Doherty, Ellisa Malcolm, Wesley Bourgeois, Heidi Doody, Colt and Jacob Buffington and Rob Owens; 18 great-grandchildren, Kallie, Klint and Brenna Landry, Alexis Blanchard, Peyton and Reese Ponson, Alyssa, Ashton, Hayden, Madelyn, Ella Guidry, Hannah Gisclair, Colin and Riley Doherty, Kate Malcolm, Noah Bourgeois, Olivia Doody and Robin Owners; sisters, Audrey Kraemer, Bernice Ledet, Thelma Breaux, Mary (Eldon) Breaux.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Arcellie Babin Landry; and one sister, Neddie Foret.

She is buried at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church Cemetery. (Falgout)
