Glenn Louis Broussard, a native of Galliano, La., died Friday, Dec. 27, 2013.
Mr. Broussard graduated from South Lafourche High School where he played football, baseball and basketball. He attended the University of Southwestern Louisiana on a football scholarship. He was a humble and gentle man and a wonderful son, husband, father and grandfather. He was always trustworthy and his word meant something. He loved the freedom of retirement and spent many hours studying his Bible daily. His greatest desire was to please God in everything he did.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Broussard; mother, Mary Broussard; daughters, Sarah Weaver, Faith Lefort and Naomi Broussard; sons, Matthew and Nathaniel Broussard; four grandchildren; sisters, Loena Olds and Maureen Collins; and brothers, Sturgeon and Murphy Broussard.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Broussard; and sister, Geraldine Dias. (Falgout)
