November 18, 2011Gloria Arceneaux Lanoix, 83, a resident of Donaldsonville, La., died Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011.
Mrs. Lanoix was a graduate of Donaldsonville High School in 1945. She worked for many years at the Ascension Parish Welfare Department.
She is survived by her children, Don, Benny and Kurt (Gina) Lanoix; sister, Jean Olive; brothers, Richard, Buddy and Thomas Arceneaux; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Landry Lanoix; son, Brian Lanoix; parents, Josephine and Florian Arceneaux; and brothers, C.J., George, Larry and Robert Arceneaux.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18, at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church in Donaldsonville with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Entombment will be at the church mausoleum. (Ourso)
