Gloria Dine Davis, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Saturday, December 27.


She is survived by one daughter, Kena Davis Simmons and husband Barney Craig Simmons of Thibodaux; stepdaughter, Marion Rounds of Thibodaux; one sister, Willie Mae Walker of Thibodaux; two brothers, Leonard Rounds and James Anderson Jr. of Thibodaux; and four grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Mable Rounds and Roscoe Van Buren; one son, Adrion Davis; grandchild, Katelyn Simmons; and grandparents, Agnes Rounds and Allen Rounds.

She was Methodist and a member of Magnolia United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included sewing.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, January 3, at Magnolia United Methodist Church on Johnson Ridge. A religious service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at 11:00am at the church with burial at Blue Lilly Cemetery on Johnson Ridge.

Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
