Thibodaux Chamber hosts awards banquet

Gloria Johnson Clement, 68, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Monday, Jan. 11, 2010.
She is survived by her mother, Thelma H. Mosley; sons, Roy (Chalinda), Ricky and Randy Clement; daughters, Diane (Ramazani) Ramazani and Carolyn Clement; brothers, Rodney, Earl, Freddie Jr. and Keith Spencer; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Freddie Spencer; step-father, Ivory Johnson; brothers, Michael Johnson and Calvin Spencer; sister, Rosemary Spencer; grandparents, Ellen Diggs Harris and Rosetta and Fred G. Spencer; one grandson; and one granddaughter.
She was a Baptist, enjoyed cooking, and caring for her mother and grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Community Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Southdown Cemetery
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
