Gordon Joseph Verdun, 58, a native and a resident of Patterson, La., died at 12:02 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012.
Mr. Verdun served in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his mother, Geraldine Verdun; brothers, Johnny (Celita), Mario (Audrey), Chucky, Robert, Craig (Marion) and Laverne Verdun and Charles Miller; and sisters, Joann (Alex) Labry, Jessie (Anthony) Decuir, Shelleta Clay, Donnez Thompson and Mary Jo Lopez.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Verdun; grandparents, George and Zenobia Gobert and Robert and Lillian Verdun; and brother, Tony Verdun.
Burial was at Ibert’s Cemetery. (Jones)
