Guy Bourg

Guy J. Bourg, 93, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La. and resident of Bourg, La., died at 5:41 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 17, 2006.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at St. Ann Catholic Church in Bourg. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by one daughter, Marlene Guidry and husband, Eulin; one sister, Lorita Authement; five grandchildren, Marvin Bourg Jr., Kerri Bourg, Anthony “Tony” Boudreaux, Beth Boudreaux and Charlotte DeHart and husband, Ashton; and two great-grandchildren, Joshua and Courtnie Boudreaux.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Trosclair Bourg; his parents, Joseph and Lelia LeCompte Bourg; one son, Marvin Bourg Sr.; one grandson, Rhett Guidry; one daughter, Marilyn B. Boudreaux; four brothers, Lyes Bourg Sr., Norton Bourg Sr., Cleveland Bourg and Alfha Bourg; and three sisters, Bessie Ann Bourg, Della Hebert and Mary LeBouef.

He was a member of the Woodmen of the World and was a great gardener and a great cook.

He was a parishioner and usher of St. Ann Catholic Church.
