May 7, 2014Harry Joseph Daigle, 77, a native and resident of Bayou Blue, La., died Tuesday, April 29, 2014.
Mr. Daigle was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He was a member of the Marine Corps League and American Legion. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dot Daigle; son, Philip (Rachel) Daigle; daughter, Elizabeth (Mark) Roberson; brothers, James, Lawrence Jr. and John Daigle; sister, Renee Boyd; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Sr. and Ruth Daigle.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, May 2, at St. Louis Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery (Chauvin)
