May 7, 2014Henrietta “Sue” Chaisson, 62, a native of Davenport, Iowa, and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, April 30, 2014.
Mrs. Chaisson was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Glaise Chaisson Sr.; children, Glaise Jr., Reide and Barry Chaisson, Heather Boudreaux, Tammy Dardar and Sandy Verdin; “son”, Bruce Holder; siblings, Julia McElroy, Helen Whitney and Gregory and Dr. Mark Herman; 15 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Rudolph and Rosemarie Herman.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Monday, May 5, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 8 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery (Chauvin)
