Henry Joseph Landry, 91, a native of Bayou L’Ourse, La., and resident of Donner, La., died Tuesday, April 29, 2014.
Mr. Landry was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and retired from Shell Oil after 35 years. He devoted his life to his family and enjoyed gardening and repairing things around the family home. He was a parishioner of St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Theresa Landry; daughter, April Landry; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Landry; parents, Xavier and Doveline Landry; brother, Eddie Landry; and sisters, Aline Landry, Clara Boudreaux and Julia Theriot.
Burial is at St. Lawrence Catholic Church Cemetery in Chacahoula, La. (Thibodaux)
