January 30, 2013Hattie Mae Ruffin, 75, a native of Oaklawn, La., and resident of Franklin, La., died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013.
She is survived by her sons, Ray and Alvin Jackson; daughters, Valerie Tobias, Avis Hawkins and Lisa Dumas; brother, Leonard Jackson; sister, Betty Alexander; 14 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Louise Jackson.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Jones Funeral Home in Franklin with services to follow. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery in Franklin. (Jones)
