Helen Ann Robichaux Bascle Bergeron, 85, a native of Bourg, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, May 13, 2014.


Mrs. Bergeron was a fun-loving person. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church and a member of Catholic Daughters. She was the secretary at Terrebonne Vo-Tech High School for 28 years and worked as a teachers’ assistant for Grace Lutheran’s early childhood center.

She is survived by her sons, Robert and Terry (Diane) Bascle; daughters, Sandra (David) Brister and Evelyn (Byron) Angeron; stepchildren, Shayne Bergeron, Deborah Sallee, Denita Abel and Clifton Lucas; brothers, Reynold and Steve Robichaux; sister, Ezoline Bourg; eight grandchildren; numerous step-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Lucille Robichaux; first husband, Bobby Bascle; second husband, Gerald Bergeron; son, Wayne Bascle; brother, Edward Robichaux; sister, Ella Mae Tabor; and one grandchild.  


Visitation will be 8:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at St. Ann Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Chauvin)
