January 28, 2010Helen Naquin Olivier, 97, a native of Chacahoula, La., and resident of Schriever, La., died at 8:40 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010.
Mrs. Olivier was a parishioner of St. Bridget Catholic Church. She was affectionately known as “Oldie.”
She is survived by her daughter, Janice (Alvin) Pontiff; sister, Velma Robichaux; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She is buried at St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery in Schriever.
