Helen Thibodeaux Aucoin, 87, a native and resident of Labadieville, La., died at 12:15 p.m. Monday, May 12.
She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Aucoin Boudreaux and husband, Mark; brother, Joucelyn Thibodeaux; grandchildren, Curt Arcement, Holly Griggs and Brittany Bourg; and great-grandchildren, Ryan and Jared Baker, Emily Arcement and Cailun Griggs.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Ben Aucoin; her parents, Numa and Florence Talbot Thibodeaux; brothers, Rudolph, Wiley, Gilbert, Albert, Lester and Emile Thibodeaux; and sisters, Eunice Gaudet and Rita Cancienne.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday, May 16, at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville with mass to follow. She will be buried at the church cemetery.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
