Herbert Howard, 48, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Aug. 22.
He is survived by one son, Danny Ray Howard; three brothers, Stanley Howard Jr., London Howard and Morris Howard, all of Houma; and three sisters, Sharon Ann Marshall of Homer, La., and Patricia Marie Howard and Rebecca Landry of Houma.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Janice Marshall Howard; parents, Standard Howard Sr. and Zenobia Trosclair Howard; one sister, Barbara Ann Howard; and grandparents, Morris Trosclair Sr. and Gerddie Neville Trosclair, and Spergeron Howard and Rosie Wesley Howard.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at Community Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at St. Luke Cemetery in Theriot.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
